  • New Moon Writing Ritual: Word Witch Magic : July 12 • 2:00 - 4:00pm

    A New Moon is a perfect and potent time to craft an intention. July 14th is a new moon in Cancer, the first new moon after the Summer Solstice. Join us on Sunday, July 12th at 2:00 pm EST, under the dark moon phase to set our intentions for the intuitive and creative New Moon of mid-summer. Using Word Witch magic: bibliomancy and automatic writing, we'll use our magic wands (pens!) to cast a spell of creativity. This class is for writers at all levels who want to ritualize this lunation with a bit of enchantment and in community. 

    You'll need your journal, a writing utensil, and a book you've recently been drawn to for the bibliomancy practice. 

    Kate Belew is an author, poet, and Witch. Since 2017, she has taught and facilitated circles and workshops worldwide. She is the author of Word Witch: How to Call Upon and Cultivate the Creative Magic Within You. She has an MFA in Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College and is an initiated Green Witch. She is dedicated to the spirit of poetry, the sacred wild of the planet, and seeks magic in all she does.
