Join Reiki Master Zachary Weisbarth at the Higher Self Bookstore for a weekend long training after which participants will be certified in Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki levels 1&2. Reiki, a Japanese stress relief and relaxation technique that also promotes healing, is a gift that provides a lifetimes worth of benefits to those who learn the practice. Reiki not only becomes a blessing to the lives of the practitioner, but also to those with whom it is shared. Zach who comes with over a decade of experience in Reiki employs a fearless approach to his teaching that creates a sense of confidence, knowledge and empowerment for you as a student.

This thorough, hands-on training combines lecture, discussion, and real life experience. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki session using all the hand positions (including the use of all the Level 2 symbols). You will be introduced to the Holy Fire® Reiki energy and you will understand how to use Reiki in your everyday life for yourself, your family, friends, pets, plants, and so much more!

Plant Magick: Deepening Your Connection to Nature 🌿 with Zach W.

Explore the world of herbs that not only nurture the physical body but also the spiritual. In this class, you will learn about the qualities of common plant allies and how to utilize them for a variety of purposes, including protection, cleansing, luck, manifestation, and enhancing spiritual connection. Class will include discussion and guided meditative journeys to introduce you to your plant allies. Cost: $30, which includes a starter kit of magickal herbs

Discover your power animal using the concept of shamanic journeying! Power animals serve as spiritual guides that appear to us in the form of animals. These allies can support us during challenging times or transitions.

In this 90 minute workshop, you will participate in guided meditations designed to help you meet your power animal and begin building a meaningful connection with them. This class is open to all, no experience needed.

Explore the world of polymer clay and learn to express yourself creatively while crafting your own unique gemstone pendant! This class is designed for all skill levels and will guide you through the entire process—from start to finish—so you can continue your artistic journey at home.

All materials are included in the class cost, except for crystals. You can: Bring your own crystals or Purchase from our extensive selection at Higher Self before class, with a 15% discount for class participants. *Tip: Look for crystals that are harder on the Mohs scale, as they can withstand the baking process. Approximate crystal size should be .5 to 1 inch in diameter. This is the perfect chance to learn a new art style, create something beautiful, and enjoy a couple of hours of creativity. **Participants must register in advance, spots fill quickly. Massage for Couples Join us in this thoughtfully designed workshop to support your well being and rekindle your bond. You will learn skills in resetting the nervous system, and brainwaves, while discovering how to easily create a space to invite care and comfort. By learning professional tips, techniques and exploring tools, we dispel the myth of needing to be strong to deliver effective massage strokes. This workshop is hands-on, renewal centered with individual assistance in a safe quiet environment, meeting once a week for three weeks, each class building upon the previous.

The size of the class is limited so individual attention is plentiful. Three week workshop tuition: $300 per couple. Wear soft unrestricted clothing, leave long nails, jewelry and phones behind.

Susan Kairys BA, LMT(7501017428) RYT 250 I have been a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist since 1985, beginning in Seattle, Washington, later in Florida and home again, Michigan. Additionally, I hold a BA with academic focus on cultural anthropology and writing; Certification as a Yoga Teacher, Yin Teacher, Certified Gong Sound Therapist and Sacred Cacao Facilitator. Working in the healthcare field and as an educator, I hold pride on keeping a higher benchmark of commitment to these fields I love. Believing everyone is wired differently, I integrate elements from ancient and modern modalities, combining knowledge of sound and vibration therapy, in my approach. This professional experience is platformed upon working in adjunct physical therapy, post surgery, stored trauma, hospice and pregnancy. Blending yoga and sound training into bodywork has provided me with exceptional awareness in the recovery and healing process of the human body-mind-spirit connection
