Newsletter Time to Come Out of Hibernation Time to Come Out of Hibernation Its official, spring is here. I’ve seen a robin and someone wearing sandals. It is time to shake off those winter blues and get our hands dirty. So many projects, I don’t know where to start. I’ll make a list and prioritize things. There are things I want to do and things I need to do and things I should be doing. Which ones will I put at the top of the list? Need, should, want. No, that doesn’t sound right. Should, want, need. No, that doesn’t sound right either. Oh no, there is a fire over there that requires my attention. What was I doing? Oh yea, my list. I’m tired now, maybe later.
Does this sound like your life? How do you stay focused when life pulls you in different directions? My daughter Denise’s birthday is two days after Christmas and I use to get sick every year on her birthday. That was until she got mad and pointed this out to me. I stopped and realized that I was on a mission to make the holidays perfect and would crash afterwards when everything was done. I realized that lists are important and that what I completed was always enough. I will check things off my list, stop and put out fires and admire the flowers I just planted.
There will always be things to do. Don't be afraid to ask for help and let life flow. Not all fires require my attention. Sometimes things need to burn to the ground so they can rise up out of the ashes on their own.

Hey dar boys and girls!
Today’s stone (although not technically a stone) is gonna take us into the magical mystical world Unda Da Sea. So get yer suntan lotion and your water goggles, we’re diving for coral. All coral comes with the ability to quiet and calm wayward emotions and to encourage peace within one’s self. We all know that imagination, intuition and strong visualization are crucial to living a fulfilling mystical life.
 Coral enhances all of those abilities. Coral vibrates to the master numbers 22. Now add the color red to your coral and you also receive the gift of being able to bring your choice of spiritual practice into alignment with the material world. Now think about it, how many of you have longed for your material world to flow alongside your spiritual life. Red coral brings you the clarity and highest and best way to make that reality true. It opens and energizes the root chakra, giving the energy and the focus you need to see your goals through. It is also has strong anti-depression and gloom repelling abilities. Here comes The Shift.....are you ready?

It's easy to see that Dr. Wayne Dyer has a way with words. Chances are, you may already own one or more of his best-selling books. His latest book, "The Shift", is actually a companion to his film that was released on DVD in early 2009.
You may have seen the film under it's original title - "Ambition to Meaning", before it became "The Shift". In Dr. Dyer's words, "I love this movie; however if I were doing it over, I'd give it a different title. I'd call it The Shift, because this term is referred to throughout the picture and is what has to take place for a person to move From Ambition to Meaning."
These four words became the book's four chapters that describe the shifts we make on our journey to adulthood. Many of us make the first two transitions - From Spirit to form and then to Ambition, where we take on an ego self - and our life story ends there. The beauty is in the second two transitions available to us, allowing us to transform ego-driven ambition To a life filled with Meaning and purpose.
I found myself admiring how the author can take a complex concept and make it simple to understand without losing any of it's power to inspire. Dr. Dyer has a gift for challenging our beliefs about the nature of our personal reality and then sharing how we can turn it around to serve ourselves and our planet.
 "We will learn how to shift from the Ambition of ego and its inevitable evaporation of power to the oneness of joyous Meaning, where we realize that we are so much more than our possessions, accomplishments, and reputations. The shift to Meaning eliminates our feelings of separateness, and illuminates our spiritual connectedness."
The movie tells the intertwined stories of an overachieving businessman, a mother of two seeking her own expression in the world, and a director trying to make a name for himself. The four shifts are seamlessly tied in, using an interview with Dr. Dyer that is being filmed at the same time - an effective use of a film within a film! The deluxe edition of the DVD includes a bonus disc with additional scenes and interviews with Wayne Dyer and the director, who tells the story of how the movie came together.

It is Spring and today is the full moon just after the Vernal Equinox. It is a powerful day for moving forward with even clearer intentions than ever before. Today we set the tone for what will be in our fascinating lives. Today we sense the magic of manifestation coming to life and yet must remain patient to see continued growth and eventual fruits. We must remain vehement in our causes. The power of this time is significant in that we are like children, playful and bright, allowing for a more innocent approach to life. This power gifts us with the ability to be grateful as well as to reassess what is developing and be certain it is what we are truly wishing for. Has the World Gone Crazy??

Not long ago, I did 24 ten minute readings for the Higher Self "Fair" and I was astounded by the repetitive theme that was apparent: Letting go. It would seem that our suspicions have been confirmed if you look at the theme from that day; the world as we know it is changing. People are changing and thus the world that those people have created is changing too!
What might that look like for you though? Well, for starters, you might be experiencing new or increased conflict in your relationships…what used to either flow easily or be tolerable to some degree just isn't any longer....
We know that change is often very positive, but that doesn't mean that it's not scary. And the conflicts that arise between you and your friends and/or family are giving you some opportunities to get in touch with your authentic self and make new choices about who you want to be. Do you remember that part of you? The authentic you? The part of you that remembers flow and knows only love and security? That part of you is still there, and you might want to schedule in some "me time" to reconnect with it more regularly and consistently.
The conflicts are not always about you and me, especially if we are not feeling drawn to engaging with it…so know where you are at with this stuff as it comes up and don't try to own it all. People are readjusting to a bunch of new energy and the old energy, although it was of a lower vibration, feels a bit more comfortable because it is familiar. Remember to breathe…in….and….out…slowly. Ground yourself. Take the conflict, when you notice it, and evaluate your emotions about it. If you feel like the conflict is bringing out a part of you that you thought you let go of way back when, consider the possibility that the rest of the energy behind the old 'you' is trying to leave! Don't hold onto it by resisting it, just be with it, bless it and give it permission to be what it is and SET IT FREE with love.
* Get in touch with your "authentic self"
* Notice how you feel about the conflict around you
* Allow others to be where they are at, even if you have to let them go
* Remember that the 'old you' served you well, bless it and set it free if it shows up again
* Keep focused on how you want to respond to what goes on around you, instead of control it all
* Breathe!
This is an exciting time for everyone, if you can see it from a higher perspective! Hang in there and know that we are moving into a more abundant, peaceful, and loving space…

What's So Bad About Feeling Bad?
What is so bad about feeling bad? This question popped into my head while deep in discussion about why we do the things we do to avoid feeling bad. Think about it! Think about all the instant gratification stuff we do to avoid feeling bad: eating, drinking, sexing, drugging, watching TV or other zone-out screen watching (games, computer), spend too much money. Feel bad, do this feel better - for just a little while, then do it again.
And that is just what we do for ourselves. Think about all we do so that the others around us will not feel bad: lie, cook, pour, lend, look the other way, gift. All just so that we feel better, that we have some peace. But look at all the opportunities we missed just because we didn't take the time to listen and understand the "bad" feeling to begin with. Fix it fast - with a bandaid. Poke your finger into the bleeding hole, and don't move! How often have we interrupted someone else's "aha" moment by handing them a tissue, a chocolate, keys to the car? I'm sure I have missed out on some awesome breakthroughs, for myself and others, by making the bad feeling bad and trying to put the fix to it immediately. What is so bad about feeling bad? Not a thing. Not one little thing. So use it. Take the opportunity to have a little chat with yourself next time you have a feeling you call bad. It just may be the "big" one you've been waiting for, the aha of all ahas! I'm certainly going to be with the next bad feeling long enough to get clear on it before taking any action, if any action is required. More importantly, I am no longer going to help someone avoid the bad just so I can feel good.
