Newsletter The Meaning of Hope The Meaning of Hope According to Webster the meaning of hope is "a feeling that what is wanted is likely to happen; desire accompanied by expectation". This word has been appearing in my world for several months with me pushing it away. After reading Webster's definition I realize why I've shunned away from it. During my training in personal growth courses I was taught to ask for what I want without expectations on the outcome. No attachment on the results meant no disappointment on the outcome if my desires didn’t come to true. Before this course I had defined who I was by the events in my life. There were alot of disappointments so getting rid of my attachments to the outcome of my desires made life easier.
Up to this point, I had blocked the feeling one gets from HOPE. I think that is the key here, I blocked feeling. I blocked the joy of receiving as well as the pain of denial. I no longer define myself by the events in my life. I know who I am. So it is time to bring HOPE back into the picture and embrace it. This may have been the missing puzzle piece for me. It is time to step out of the stagnant water and shake things up. Tomorrow sure looks brighter when sprinkled with a dash of HOPE.

The Rune for December is: Isa – Standstill
This month’s rune, Isa, is suggesting to everyone that they take some time in December to simply relax, take a break from your work and your worries (when you can) and have some fun! As always, the holidays will influence this entire month… and wouldn't it be a wonderful gift to yourself to enjoy all that Christmas has to offer this year?
How many times have you toasted the new year while wondering where the last month (and the last year) had gone? Well… this December will slow down if you allow it. And you get to choose if it slows down for the joy of it or because of the obstacles… the plateaus…
And Isa does predict that this month will be one of ‘plateaus’ for so many of us. All the more reason to take time away from the project that just won't ‘gel’ and to take time to play.
To totally rewrite an old adage: When winter gives us ice, might as well buy ice skates…

And now, look at the rune for this month and then look at the Psychic Tarot card… absolute opposites!
Doesn’t that feel like the chaos energies of the last several months?! Even while things are plateauing for so many, life is speeding up. I suspect this card is reminding us to be watchful while we play. Meaning? Remember to pay the bills! Remember to defrost dinner! Remember to take out the garbage… Remember to smile when the people you love walk into the room!
And especially, remember the true meaning of Christmas whether you celebrate the holiday or not…
And there is another reason for these two diametrically opposed signs to appear for this December’s article… Time as we know it is collapsing. By the end of 2012, time will stop being relevant as anything other than a tool for organizing our days… so, practice now. Take command of time and study how you can make it work for you… And the two main types of time to do that are: Isa (No time) and Accelerated Motion (Living beyond imagination!).
So, here we go… Ready or not… Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and… Wow…!

SELF LOVE

It frequently happens when a person awakens to new and higher reality, that they find themselves plagued with negative emotions of guilt and remorse with regard to actions they have taken in the past. In their new state of awareness they begin to realize how life experiences and situations could have been better handled. This realization often brings with it, a sense of embarrassment, deep sorrow, and even a self loathing for actions taken and words said in the past; actions that may or may not of resulted in pain or difficulties for another. These past events involved actions we expressed according to our beliefs at that time; beliefs that we tenaciously clung to with a sense of self righteousness and total disregard for the feelings or beliefs of the other. These experiences from our past often alienated those we believed we were “helping”. We probably believed that we were showing them the “right” way (our way) of doing or living or believing, while we may actually have been functioning as enablers, or self righteous “know it alls”; slowing down their personal learning . We believed that we were being “loving” and helpful. Now, seeing with “new eyes” we are horrified at some of the things we said or did. We can see clearly how we were not helping anything but our own sense of ego and it is at this point that we become very uncomfortable with ourselves. It is like a light bulb goes off in our thinking causing us to be very humiliated by actions of the past.
Self loathing reflects the energy of the third dimension (duality and separation), is the offspring of the universal but impersonal belief; “You never will be good enough”, and is experienced physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually by everyone living fully in third dimensional energy.

Remembering the excitement of my first time reading “Mutant Message”, I recall staying up to finish it in one sitting. I just couldn’t wait to see what happened next. Recently, I re-discovered what a powerful gift her story is for anyone ready to listen and receive from the Universe. I hope you will, too!
Years ago, I was lucky enough to attend a talk that Marlo gave at a New Age Expo, and she spoke of how her skeptics would insist she show them her feet, scarred from her months on “walk-about” in the Australian outback. They wanted “proof” of her incredible adventure with the “Real People”, as the Aboriginal tribe call themselves. She used to oblige, but had decided that she no longer needed to subject herself to this scrutiny – it served no purpose – her journey stands on its own. I still have my signed, original copy of the book and I can’t remember how many copies I’ve given as gifts over the years.
What we aspire to, the “Real People” have already embodied for thousands of years – a living example of peace and harmony. In tune with their harsh environment and each other, this small tribe of desert nomads are masters of telepathy and natural healing as well. I won’t give away the details, just treat yourself or a loved one to this timeless jewel!

What happens after you die?

As a medium, I have engaged in many conversations with people “on the other side”, and there has been some very common things expressed.
If you consider the three points above, what is expressed is the fact that we have a choice. Usually people will experience what they thought would happen immediately upon death, but after some time, the person usually realizes that it is them creating that experience. So if someone believes in a specific idea of “Heaven”, and has beliefs that support them “going to Heaven”, they will usually experience a version of their Heaven, at least until they realize that they are the creator of that particular experience. The time for this realization to take place varies from person to person, and it is likely that not all people come to that realization. Those who tend to be “stuck” in an experience usually had some very rigid and longstanding beliefs and perceptions that make it more difficult to create change and see something different. But the good news is that the people who truly desire any kind of help can immediately draw help to them over there.

Deserving vs Earning
This may be a little deep for the Holidays, but I think it's an excellent time to do some soul-searching. If we can find some gunk that tends to block our holiday good cheer, and get rid of it - all the merrier!
Okay, so I'm still looking into this internal/external thing which, for me, tends to take me in circles until I get to the core. So hang in there with me, please. We often read/hear that in order to manifest we must believe we are deserving. Now, I can justify why I deserve something. Say I want to manifest a raise in pay. Do I believe I deserve a raise in pay? Well, of course! I earned it! Just look at all the great things I've done for this company! Oh my gosh, they probably don't deserve me!
