The Circle of Life!! 

 

Have I told you about “The Circle – A Guide for the Inner Explorer” by D. R. Taylor?  This is a divination tool I discovered last summer.  I use it most days and it helps me to stay focused on what is important in my life.  The demo deck is keep up at the register and I pull it out several times a week to “play” with someone who walks in looking for direction in their life.

  

  

Happiness, Beginnings, Magic, Forgiveness, Discovery, Celebration, Direction, Love, Choice, Endings.  These are the Gem Cards that keep showing up for me lately.  As time seems to be speeding up and thoughts are beginning to manifest quickly, I use the tools around me to focus on the good things in my life and the path that will lead me to more happiness, magic, discovery, celebrations and love.

 

I truly believe that there is nothing you need outside of yourself and that all your answers are within!  When I forget who I am, I know that there are tools I can reach for to access that still point within.  What are some of your favorite tools?  Books, oracle cards, classes, psychic readings, meditation, yoga, pendulums, stones and crystals?   There are so many to choose from.  Explore the resources around you and don’t be afraid to ask for help.  Discover what tools work best for you to connect to Source and your inner knowing.  You’ll know them when you find them.

The Higher Self Bookstore celebrates it's 25 year anniversary on April 7th. I became caretaker on July 7, 2000. The numerology and astrology of these birth dates is really quite fascinating. But that's another story.

 

The story I heard about the origin of the Higher Self Bookstore goes something like this: Donna, the original creator, was buying so many books and products to support her personal studies, growth, and development that her husband suggested she might as well open a store. So she did!

I like this story, and I've repeated the story to others. However, I have never confirmed the story with Donna. There actually may be no truth to it at all! Now I find myself pondering just how many stories I repeat out of ignorance, because I either like the story or because I'm afraid and pass on the story to warn you about something you should be afraid of as well.
