Newsletter Love or Fear?
Love or Fear?
Walking to work today I was thinking about a subject to write about for the newsletter. Lots of things float around in that head of mine. What kept coming up for me was taking responsibility for our lives and its outcome. Who is in charge really? We are on the verge of many changes in our country, in our world and our personal lives. When we make choices, do we check in with ourselves to see if our decision is based in love or fear? I have been working with my guides to release any blocks that I may have that would hinder my personal growth or cause me to make any decisions based in fear.

I know that for myself when fear rises up it usually starts in my stomach. It is a good indicator to notice beliefs/blocks that may take me off my path. A starting point. In the up coming months, notice for yourself how you are basing your choices. Sometimes just asking the question ,“Is my decision based in Love or Fear?” is enough. Trust your gut on your response.

Chakra Workshop
I have been working with chakras for over 20 years in one capacity or another and have found these spinning "wheels" of energy to be a receptor and a vortex that receives, perceives, and filters energies from you and the world around you. You choose whether your chakras will be healthy, vital, malfunctioning, or shut down.
The chakras are the research and development department for making excellent decision and choices in your life. Their capacity to pickup fine, subtle, and hidden vibrations is awe-inspiring. The real reason we make decisions is from the subconscious/unconscious input that the chakras deliver through the subconscious and unconscious mind. I help people learn to understand this energy and also heal and clean the chakras. I also use a harp to balance and clear chakras along with other healing techniques.
In our modern-day quest for instant gratifications and making things easy and comfortable, we put our chakra system in "stuck" energies. After understanding that denial, apathy, and avoidance injected into a chakra is like sticking a finger into an electric socket, we then have the ability to help our chakras be healthy and in vital condition.
The general lack of information about chakras and health sends more people to therapy than do parental and relationship issues.

The Day of the Dead
Samhain (SAH-win), October 31, is the day that the Goddess' New Year begins. The Day of the Dead, when we honor that which has passed and those who have passed as a part of the cycle of life. Big thinking. Ancient thinking.
It makes sense to honor what has passed on a day when the veil is thin. When we have greater accessibility to the other side maybe there is room for healing 7 generations behind us as well as 7 ahead of us. I like this notion. It gives me warm fuzzy feelings. It gives me hope. And that is something that we all could use more of at times. We already know that if we change our lives/world today we leave a legacy of wholeness for those following, but this if I am really doing my part; I will heal what has passed in a very tangible way...re-write history we might say. Imagine that. Seriously. Do it. Allow me to light the way for you, lovie... Enter the cave...dimly lit by the candle you carry forward. The dampness surrounds you as you venture deeper into the earth, into the proverbial womb of the goddess. You will meet Her soon. The Crone woman. She who is the Death Grandmother, the destroyer of all which no longer serves. She calls your name, but is it aloud, or in your head? As you begin to wind around a bend in the path of the cave, a gust of air (or is it energy) hits you and your candle flickers out. The sound of a hoof hitting the cave floor and the sound of a snort startle you briefly. Rising up within you is an ancient knowing that you are about to meet a long lost friend. A glow comes from Him. He is the King Stag...the horned god. He who reminds you that all that you eat is the life give away of both plant and animal spirit. You must face Him before you can face Her for it is only in accepting and honoring what has been feeding us that we can let it go. He tells you ways in which you can be aware of what has nourished you. He offers you the reminder that praying over your food is one of the easiest ways to give thanks for all that sustains you in life. He wishes you luck as he bows gracefully. His light diminishes, and you are left alone in the darkness again. You realize the appropriateness of looking at what has been giving you fuel to go forward in life before you let it go. Just as this realization fills you, the Grandmother stands before you in the darkness. Your human eyes can not see her, but you know the Crone woman is there. Time to surrender yourself to her. You are completely aware of the things which no longer serve you and are willing to give them over to the Death Grandmother. She takes them up in a secret bundle to sweep them away from your life. There is a void within you that is almost tangible. Crone woman knows just what to do...her gift is of wisdom and of honoring this fertile soil now left here in this seemingly empty place. Look at this emptiness, the Void, as a place of infinite possibility. Give yourself the time to plant strong, healthy and fulfilling seeds there. Nurture those seeds over the coming months. The face of the Death Grandmother will change now. The Crone woman will remain though. Take comfort in Her vast wisdom and loving arms. She embraces you now as you return to your life, rebirthed. What are Essential Oils?
It’s that time of year again, cold and flu season. Essential oils can play a big part in making it through this rough season along with some therapeutic treatments.
These are some helpful Essential Oils for cold and Flu season:
Eucalyptus, Orange, Lavender, Peppermint, Raven, R.C., Thieves, Clove
Essential oils are not actually oils but rather concentrated liquid forms of the plant from which they were distilled. Essential oils date back to biblical times and there are well over 100 references to them in the Bible. They pass through the entire body in ½ hour and can stay in the system up to one week. They can affect you physically, mentally and emotionally. They can be used on all ages, including infants. You should always read labels and/or check with your essential oil consultant before giving to children and/or pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.
Some oils that you could use on children are:
Roman Chamomile, Bergamot, Frankincense, Orange, Lemon, Lavender,
Valor, Peace and Calming
**You should dilute 1 to 2 drops of these oils with 1 Tsp. carrier oil,
such as Olive, Almond, Apricot or Grape seed
There is an abundant amount of information on Essential Oils. There are also several ways you can use these oils including household cleaning, diffusing, topical, internally, for your pets and much more. Trust my intuition?
God! I can’t believe I did it again. How come I make such stupid choices? Why do I wait till after the fact to trust my intuition? Your life is crazy, everyone is out to get you and it’s all your fault. Maybe if you just filled your days with a hundred more projects you’ll die in your sleep and it will all be over! Just go ahead, volunteer more time that you don’t have (maybe you can crawl to the next appointment.) Maybe if you gave yourself a break you wouldn’t be filled with so much anxiety. The world is turning faster than the speed of light and you’ve mistakenly believed you must out run it or forever be a failure. Well if you read any of this and heard it in your head using your own voice then you know who the judge is and you also know its time to cut yourself some slack. I am the rock for you! Greetings!
First of all, the Ethereal Clearing workshop is still running, in full swing! Secondly, I recently went to see the latest Michael Moore film, Slacker Uprising, which you can see for freeat http://slackeruprising.com/. I am not very fond of politics in general, but as usual, Michael had my attention the entire time. This movie really moved and inspired me…I encourage everyone to check it out for themselves! Lastly, I recently sat down to figure out some confusion I had been experiencing regarding different beliefs and conflicts in people's thought patterns. I started looking at why so many people have been told by Guides to "be aware of your expectations because they can be very counterproductive if you don't know what they are. Oh, by the way, look at your "hopes" as well, because they are often expectations in disguise". Obviously, expectations often lead to disappointment. When I looked up expectationin the dictionary, I found that it implied "non-action" because the word "obliged" was in the definition. So, I looked up the word obliged. One of the definitions was (taken from dictionary.com): 4.to put (one) in a debt of gratitude, as by a favor or accommodation: This also implied "non-action". If I "expect" and am trying to manifest, the expectation may throw the balance off between my "doing" and my "being" (creating vs. allowing). It is important to remember that words are just symbols for other things: in this case, a state of being, or "state of mind"; which is also the equivalent to the energy you are sending out. If someone is not aware of their expectations, it could very well be symbolic of the unawareness of their state of being, and being "conscious" is about being aware.
Feeling "obliged", or "expecting" isn't necessarily counterproductive by itself but not understanding what you base the expectation on can be. I asked the Feminine Spirit if there are any "good" expectations and she said yes. "A good expectation is determined by what it causes you to believe and what decisions you make because of it." Basically, an unfulfilled expectation can be justified if you needed the falsehood to help you shift in some way...the end justifies the means. Fired up, I decided to look up a series of words: Hope: Desire accompanied by expectation <<<very interesting>>> Desire: Request Want: To have too little of; be deficient in; lack Need: Something useful, required or desired that is lacking; want I saw some overlay in the definitions; which is what often gets my focus during a hypnotherapy session because these subtle contradictions and/or differences can cause severe conflicts in a person's experiences. So I asked the Feminine Spirit what to do about the expectations and she said, "It is important to consciously be aware of the differences with those terms and what is being sent out...be conscious." The words themselves are not problems; the state of mind is often the problem. So,by becoming acutely aware of the state of mind, (or belief) that is behind the word that we choose, we can raise our vibrations high enough to where the lowest intent or definition is no longer applicable. We can use the words we choose to help us see where we are. Try assuming that your external life reflects your core beliefs for a while and see what you notice about yourself!
