Love Can Build A Bridge
This morning I was reminder about a personal growth course I took back in the late 90’s. One of the exercises was called “Outrageous Theater” where we were required to step out of our boxes and become somebody totally unlike ourselves. We dressed in costumes, some became “superstars” (Rita), men in drag (Mark), we all stepped into roles we never thought we could. After a night of breakthroughs we went to celebrate by going into the hotel bar and sing karaoke. My biggest breakthrough that night came in that bar when my fellow classmates and I stood on stage and sang together the song “Love Can Build A Bridge”. During the song the most miraculous thing happened. All of us, one by one, stepped out into the audience and invited people to join us on stage. By the end of the song everyone in the audience was on stage. I envision our country acting in the same way. It was time to be humble and extended ourselves with open arms and hearts. It is time to Be the person we say we are. “Don’t you think it’s time?” Yes We Can!!

Another note – Free Parking Larry C. Hardy Parking Deck is offering free parking after 5 pm, Monday – Friday and on the weekends. Standard parking rates are $1.00 for two hours and 40 cents for each additional hour with $4 maximum per day. The parking deck is located steps away from our front door.

Goddess' New Year
Well, the Goddess' New Year is here! We can take a quick inventory and let go of what isn't working for us and keep doing what is working for us. We can try to create our day. We can use prayer, meditation and visualization. We can listen and observe. We can move out into our day in mindfulness. Just as the waves of the ocean do, so too do challenges arise and we can choose if we will look at them with creative eyes, or the eyes of a victim. Now is the time for celebrating what has been and to allow ourselves to be moved forward by the Holy Spirit, I respectfully call Ishani.
I am going to share a way of connecting with the Hindu Goddess of Abundance now since this is a very helpful thing to do when the stock market has crashed, we've been forced to surrender what no longer is serving us and hopefully have learned from it all. I choose Lakshmi too, because we just passed by the day of Deepavali (the eve of the new moon between October and November,) a Hindu holy day celebrating the goddess Lakshmi. Lakshmi is also associated with Ganesha. They may be called in together. Ganesh is actually very helpful alone or along side of any other deity. He is the remover of obstacles. Ganesha may be evoked by chanting Om Ganesha at least 3 times. Ganesha is the elephant-headed god. He takes us out of our own way to allow for the Abundance to flow. Give him a shout and then see if your access to the energy of Lakshmi is granted. Lakshmi can be called upon to ready us for anything we think we are ready for. MY suggestion is that you ask for spiritual wisdom along with anything else you think you want! She is a lovely goddess who can not only bring joyous abundance into our lives, but also skillfully guide us through the turbulence of dark times. Evoke the essence of Lakshmi by lighting a green candle and chanting her name several times: Om Shri Lakshmi. Please don't forget to listen. Listen deeply. Keep in mind that the Sanskrit language summons the essence of that which you focus on. To speak a Sanskrit word calls it into existence on certain levels. To continue to put focused attention on that (Lakshmi for example) does bring it into manifestation. I have been blessed to know this to be true from first hand experience, sweet friends. Give it a go! One last thing... By the time you get this, the fate of this Nation will have been declared. We will have a new President of the United States of America. I pray Ganesha removes the obstacles in order that the Best and Highest Choice be chosen. While I have my opinion and hope for which candidate I think that is, I will trust that we will make it through whole and united no matter what. Let's keep it real. It's not US and THEM! On the morning of Election Day, I noticed that my "usually clear" channel was a bit "fuzzy" and I felt a bit anxious. About two hours after I awoke, I felt the anxiety increase, almost to a slight panic. I spoke with "Isness" (also lovingly known as "Bridget") about it and was told that I was feeling the collective energies of our nation and the parts of the world that were watching us so closely. I was also told that it was not just anxiety and fear that I was feeling, but also extreme excitement! She said that I needed to focus my energy on things that were calming. So, first things first, I drove down to the township to cast my vote.
While waiting in line, I saw a 90+ year old woman being helped out of a vehicle by her neighbor...the older woman looked at me, and suddenly, my eyes welled up with tears. I had this flash of all of the changes that this woman had seen in her lifetime and the power behind her voice. She, like many other people that day, was determined to create change.
As the woman was escorted into the building, I became acutely aware of the nation's energetic "scream" for help. My heart opened up as I allowed this energy to move through me and be transformed into trust. I know that in my heart of hearts that we as a people are moving into a massive shift, individually as well as collectively. Those of us who have been taking more responsibility for ourselves, and thus the planet, have been feeling the shift for some time now, and because of our conscious efforts, have been able to witness physical signs of the energetic transitions. How does the collective shift? What does it take to bring that about, and what does it look like? The shift clearly feels different to everyone, but the collective "there's no hope" and "why bother" mind-set IS starting to shift. And sometimes, individually and as a group, tripping and falling can be a motivator to pick ourselves up off of the floor and strive for something different. Challenges often bring about change.
The actual Collective Consciousness does not need a certain number of people to shift for it to shift. Because we are speaking in terms of energy, when a certain shift takes place on the energetic level, the Collective HAS to start to reflect that change. And because love energy is much higher in vibration than fear, a small number of people can shift more into love and create massive changes!
So, how do we help this happen? Love yourself for starters. Take little steps or big steps toward full responsibility for yourself (emotions, thoughts, creations, etc.) and for your experiences. Start asking questions such as, "How could I be more naturally loving to myself?" or "What parts of me am I judging as unlovable?" Remember, it is ALL ABOUT YOU, always. And if each person reading this begins to work more in that manner, we will continue to see grander displays of love within the Collective. As my husband and I explain in our lecture, we are not "all one" while we are in the physical, and continuing to act as if we are can actually hinder what happens here. Focus on loving yourself so you have the ability to easily love others without self-sacrifice. And if you find that difficult to do, ask yourself why. Then, when you are ready, reserve a seat at the Ethereal Clearing Lecture so you can use your energy in a highly efficient and effective manner to create maximum change! If you fear certain truths, responsibility or the future, you lack love. Love transforms all that is...are you ready for it? I am excited to say that I know many people who are!
