All of our guides, angels and all those we pray to for help are listening.  Are we?  They respond always.  What are you asking for?  Where are you putting your attention?  Their answer is always YES.  We are healthy, vibrant, smart, resourceful, abundant, peaceful, joyful, loving, confident light-beings who always follow the correct path for ourselves.  I affirm this for myself.  I affirm this for you also.  And so it is.  Our dreams are manifesting quickly.  Has anyone else noticed this too?  Stay focused, plant the seeds and watch them grow.  The landscape is fertile.  What seeds (thoughts) will you plant today?

The Rune for May is: Inguz – New Beginnings.  Is there a better Rune to choose for spring? And interestingly, the energy of Inguz is for the completion of new beginnings. We have all been working and praying for the healing of our world and our economy. This Rune suggests that the healing has begun and that we are now moving beyond the awkward first steps of the process and into what will be more obviously optimistic.

 

Our job as Lightworkers is to imagine the outcomes we want and then to ask for that outcome to be beyond our imaginations and more glorious, loving and successful than we have ever known. Ask for success, ask for inner peace, ask for joy… and ask that everyone else experience the same.

Guilt is the sense of heaviness and separation we experience when understanding that we have not lived out from our highest level of realized consciousness.

As we spiritually evolve, old and heavy energy (from our  physical, emotional, and mental bodies) begins to clear and as it does, we feel  waves of guilt, depression, anger, and all the negative emotions still vibrating within our energy field from lifetimes. Today I would like to address a big one; guilt.  

As we seek to live more in Truth, we often start to remember events; words we said, actions we took, or words and actions not taken that ought to have been taken.  This is a normal part of evolution.  It means we have learned from these experiences and would not follow the same course of action any longer.  We are moving to a new place within ourselves.  We also may experience anger at ourselves for allowing a circumstance or person in our past to have power over us. "How could I of been so stupid?" or "Why didn't I stand up for myself?"  These remembrances are coming into our awareness now in order to be released and let go of in a sense of gratitude for the lessons learned.  This releasing makes room for the higher frequencies of Light to enter in.

We must begin to accept that we chose to be here on earth in order to evolve to a deeper awareness of Truth and who we are.  Then we realize that all past actions simply reflect the state of consciousness we were at that time but I am in a new place now.  

SOURCE (God) neither rewards nor punishes.  God simply is infinitely expressing Itself.   
Because the Divine is omnipresent and manifests in infinite form and variety, I (not the false material sense of me, but my true essence) must be that Divine in expression.  All that Source is, I am. Therefore neither guilt nor any other negative emotion can be a part of my real being, nor can it be a power over me. Society, mainly through the teachings of organized religion through the centuries, have consistently pushed upon us images of humanity as sin filled failure (according to a narrow and un-evolved views of truth) and we in ignorance of our true power to choose, blindly accepted this.  It is time to release these old teachings and concepts.  They are just that, concepts.

What is guilt then, and why does it seem to have such a prominent place in my journey?    The sense of guilt that I experience is the activity of an impersonal, universal, and unreal belief in separation from the Divine and all living things which I have accepted as real and personal.

The belief in duality (two powers) and separation (from each other and Source) is the substance or energy of which the third dimension is formed.  The world and all living things are not illusion, it is our concepts of the world and its creations are the illusion.  With the realization of this, I can rest back in a silent awareness of Truth and begin to understand the nothingness of this emotional energy called guilt which has no law to support or maintain it.

As I begin to change long held concepts of events, interactions, and individuals and move into   seeing beyond the appearances of separation, I gain an understanding of more appropriate and loving actions (rather than the ones which produced the sense of guilt).  I can begin to love and honor this process of evolution instead of holding myself locked in demeaning and negative guilt.  I am now able to see how beautifully these experiences teach me.  They are needed in order to grow and evolve into higher ways of seeing and being. This is why we chose to be here.  There really are no accidents.

Every new awareness we experience is like a flower blooming along the path toward enlightenment and it isn't long before we find ourselves surrounded with flowers of infinite form and variety if we are open to it.

Connecting with People…

Happy, happy, joy, joy?  Yuk!  Have you ever just felt like being cranky?  Have you had one of those days where you just didn’t want to be cheered up?  I think we have all had that at some point, and I have come to realize that it is okay!

 

Being in the spiritual profession, so to speak, I have held on to this idea that people expect me to be happy, joyful and problem-free…and sometimes that is the case.  When a client comes in for assistance, they want to be comforted by the idea that the person who they are seeking help from has “got it together”, but I’ve had those days where I thought to myself, “I’m really going to help someone today when I feel like this?“  But I found out that especially on the days when I feel incapable I can help people even more.  Why?  I think it is because people find more comfort in knowing that I can relate to what they are going through, that I am human and that if I give a suggestion, it is coming from some kind of experience.

 

No one is perfect, and most of us know this.  But how often do we expect ourselves to be perfect?  And how many times, on our “off” days do we try to pretend that we’re not off?  :) 

 

My friend Carol has this thing that she does when she makes a mistake and it always makes me laugh.  She gently smacks herself on her forehead and says, “Ooops, I’m being human again!”  That is just a little reminder not to get down on yourself for not being perfect, for not knowing all the answers, and for being a student as much as you are a teacher.

 

People love connecting with people, and although you might not want your dentist or doctor smacking themselves on the forehead and saying “oops”, when it comes to connecting with people on a spiritual level, or just connecting in general, being just who you are in that moment is all that is really being asked.  Have you been human lately?

When my daughter (my constant teacher) decides she wants to change something, she usually takes baby steps to get there. One teenie action at a time. Now, for me, I'm the one standing back wondering why she doesn't Just Do It! Take the Leap! No, it's "baby steps, Mommy (she still calls me Mommy - she's 26), baby steps."

Recently I've stepped back to analyze this process versus the process that others choose, including myself. What prompted me was looking at the long list of things I wanted to change and accomplish and being overwhelmed with where to start. Baby Steps? Leap? Both?
