What does that mean for you?  For me it is letting life and circumstance flow with an ease that it could only be coming from the divine.  I know when I am in that flow.  Everything just seems to fall in place and I stand there shaking my head wondering how.  Even after all these years of watching miracle after miracle occur in my life, I still have a desire to control the outcome.  That is where I get stuck.  That is how I stop the flow, my need to know how, why, when, where and who.  When I let go and allow the flow of the divine to guide me to the next step, I am happy.  Easy enough, right?  It really is that easy and my desire to control the outcome shifts the flow from the highest and best for myself.  I am still learning how to find the balance of staying in the flow without drowning.  I know that all I have to do is check in with myself and see how I am feeling.  Am I happy?  Do I like who I see in the mirror?  Am I excited for this moment and the next one coming around the corner?  Do I listen to the guidance that comes to me with love?  Or do I avoid the obvious and eat another cookie?

Have you noticed how excitable people are getting? No matter what happens it is evoking huge responses… e.g. The stock market goes up… oh, my goodness! The stock market goes down… oh, my goodness! The stock market stays the same… oh, my goodness! The world has fallen in love with drama and has learned to react to everything  as if it were a drama…

 

But what if we began to regard the events of our lives simply as ‘the journey’? The Rune called Raido encourages exactly that. Rather than reacting to everything, how about simply observing and contemplating situations for a bit before you move into action? (And, of course, Raido is not suggesting this slower mode during a crisis!)  In most circumstances, taking a few moments to understand the situation will move you from head and gut reactions to heart actions. In August, your journey will be blessed and enhanced by your calm and measured choices.

 

Also, please note that Raido also encourages communication. And how much better will your communications be if you heed Raido’s advice and take time to think before you speak?

If this sounds like a euphemism for ‘focused intention’, you’re right! As we all acclimate to the 5D+ reality of our evolving world, your focused intentions will continue to manifest at increasingly fast rates. Taking the time to decide what you want and to clarify and understand that desire will help you to live the exact life that you are wanting.

 

What are some other euphemisms for ‘patience and planning’? How about: meditation, contemplation, vision boarding, brainstorming, outlining, budgeting, dreaming, goal setting…

I work along side  many different light workers and healers, and we all have many different talents and backgrounds.  And even though we are all on different paths, too, I’ve noticed that there is a common shift that seems to be happening with us; but this shift seems to be happening with people in general as well!  What is it?

Most of us have been raised with the idea of putting others before ourselves; to help and give instead of receive.  And for a long time now, many people have been struggling with this because something inside of us began to scream for more attention.  Me, me, me, me, me!  “When is it going to be MY TURN?”  Well, I am here to say that after a long internal struggle, most of us are beginning to shift our focus off of helping and giving to others as the main priority and turn it back onto ourselves.  Think about this for a minute:  If our lives are based on SELF LOVE, and we create our reality based on how we treat ourselves, if we are always giving and putting others first, how are we being loving toward ourselves?  Self sacrifice is not required, and in fact, promotes not being balanced!  One of the hardest lessens that I have learned in my life is this exact one, “If you put others first, you won’t have anything left to give.  BUT IF YOU ALWAYS GIVE TO YOURSELF FIRST, YOU WILL NEVER RUN DRY!”  

 

What a concept!  Putting others first is definitely a hard habit to break, because let’s face it…we’ve been trained well!  But it really is no wonder that we (especially “light workers and caregivers”) have been unhealthy, unhappy and unfulfilled (not to mention financially dry); because the previous mindset is BASED ON AN IMBALANCE!   How could one ever know true fulfillment when balance within oneself is the key?

The new energy is described by some as a period of accelerated energy that began in August 1987 at the time of the Harmonic Convergence and will continue to speed up until the Winter Solstice 2012, at which time things will settle into the New Earth. This twenty-five year period is seen as an opportunity for us as a human race to become more highly evolved beings. I was living in Dallas, Texas at the time of the Harmonic Convergence. I knew it was important, but with no knowledge of Astrology I wasn’t sure how. The planets were all lining up with our sun, creating an opening (that had not existed before), for more of what I considered to be “God’s Light” to reach us here on Earth. This information resonated deep within me and I responded to an invitation for all of humanity to gather in groups to honor this monumental event. The alarm was set and I made my way to the shoreline of White Rock Lake, sitting on a blanket as if at a picnic, waiting for dawn. As the sun rose there was a universal cheer that went out across the lake. The wildlife stirred as flocks of birds flew overhead and turtles swam into the water from shore. This was the beginning, I felt it at my core and yet I still had no idea of what was to follow. One Rock and Roll song of the 1960’s declared, “This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius”. Could it be that we are leaving behind the Patriarchal Age for the Aquarian Age? How would that happen and what would it look like? It’s funny how just hearing the words sung out loud and with conviction gave me hope for life, yet I didn’t even know what they meant at the time. Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand was published in 1957, and the philosophies are still discussed today in many circles. I had read it about ten years ago, after it sat on my shelf for about fifteen. For me it was an excellent read, though I struggled with much of the philosophy. I did take away the importance of self-love, self-respect, self-integrity, and self-value.

I've got about a hundred pages to go in this second read (it's over 1,100 pages of small print)and I don't understand all the points Ms. Rand is aspiring to make but I am getting much more out of it this time around.

Indoctrination is key throughout the story, and I think what I've chosen to believe as truth over the years is one reason I've tripped myself up in understanding Ms. Rand's views. Indoctrination can be defined as impressing on others something as true to obtain a particular behavior. These beliefs are accepted as "self-evident" by those who prefer to jump on board rather than think or do their own research.
