According to Webster’s Dictionary Faith means an unquestioning belief that does not require proof or evidence. I have faith that the sun will rise tomorrow. I have faith that the seasons will change. I have faith in my connection with Source. I have faith in us. I have confidence in our ability to heal the planet and each other. Take a hold of my hand and together we will take a leap of faith. Ready or not, it is time to step up.

I have faith that you are ready and there is nothing you can not accomplish once you put your heart and mind to it. Don't worry, I've got your back just like I have faith that you have mine.

Energies for February

The Rune for February is: Perth - Initiation

Every month as I work on my next Sedona Journal article, I ask for new information to share... And this time I was happily surprised when my guides told me to share that critical mass has actually raised its resonance... Now, keep in mind that there is a 2 month lead time for this article's deadline... Which brings me to this rune... In February, 2011 critical mass (aka: mass consciousness, aka: humanity) will raise its collective vibration to a new and higher frequency. This will open new potential beyond our wildest dreams and with it comes the deep inner transformation predicted by the rune, Perth.

This is true ascension (not necessarily complete ascension... But (most likely) one more rung on the ladder) and its energies of transformation and change will not necessarily be easy (although if you allow them to be, they will!). And the other suggestion from Perth is that you keep your experience private until it is fully complete. Why? Because in the sharing you slow your progress and perhaps even stop it short of its full potential.

So as you think about what Perth is promising... Read what The Faerie's Oracle suggests you can do to make February the heavenly ride it is designed to be...

Hello Fellow Rockhounds!

Our sister Kafi has noticed certain themes running through her readings this first month of the year, “Living Your Truth”. No matter what the question these energies kept popping up to be addressed. So here is not one but several stones to help you flow through this rather than being tossed about each time a wave hits!

Today you started out feeling great. What happened? Your bills are paid, your life is good. Why do you suddenly feel sooo unhappy? You have just crossed into someone else’s reality, one where everything seems tragic. You know that feeling this way will only bring more sadness but there’s only one of you and office full of them. How can you possibly hold your light? Black Tourmaline in Quartz will push away others negative energy while the quartz will help maintain calmness and peace. Red Tourmaline will help you to remember there is only love and killing others is not nice.

For those so caught up in their changes and think they’ll never see light again, Lepidolite is your go to guy. It will bring you into a state of calm release. Add support with bright Orange Carnelian for returning your courage and sense of adventure. Pair it with Golden Tiger Eye and you are good to go.

But you’ve been down so low you can’t even think of getting up! Find your Red Tiger Eye to disperse that lethargic (can’t you see I’m dead) feeling. It will increase your motivation ten times over. Adding either Seraphinite or Angelite will help you remember you not ALONE. You have help and support no matter what the outside world says. Be your own best cheerleader and let them help. It's Time to Step It Up!

A woman wrote to a friend of mine, who is also a healer, about how some of her experiences with all of us at the Higher Self Bookstore have impacted her life and helped her get in touch with her “calling”. I don’t think any one of us shared a message with her that she did not already know intuitively before she came to us, but instead she got the validation that she was on the right track for her own growth and spiritual peace.

One of the things that she spoke of was her intense need to help people “step up to the plate”. Well, here’s how she put it: “My mission is all about enlightenment, uplifting self-esteem, empathy, compassion, world peace, summing it up with the dire need for humanity to step up to the plate and take back our rightful role as caretakers of each other and our planet and for that matter the universe, with the help of our Creator, our archangels, angels, guides and the masters that have gone on before.”

See, there comes a time for most people, eventually, where some part of the Self starts to stir. Thoughts start to become foreign, and we begin to question what we have been taught, what we’ve been told to believe and our values begin to transform.

Integrity and Following the Rules

Rules were created to establish order, am I right? Without rules - chaos! If a rule, or law, no longer supports order then steps should be taken to change or cancel it. However, until that is established, the rule should still be followed. You know, status quo and all that.

I have a confession to make - I'm a rule follower. At the same time, I'm the first one to declare, "Challenge Authority!" I have not been practicing what I preach, and I am waking up to the fact that the rules are just not keeping up with the fast-paced changes that are occurring.

Somehow, I had incorporated "following the rules" into my interpretation of integrity, and a woman of integrity is who I have chosen to "Be." By this, what I mean is, I stand by my word. If I say it, I will do it. My word is my bond, you can count on me. Over the years, I have been more careful with my "word" and this practice has resulted in more balance in my life, not over committing my time, etc.
