A New Day Has Come

Can you feel it in the air? It feels to me like big changes are a coming. I can feel it in my bones. Thank you to everyone who filled out the questionnaire. There is still time to participate in the drawing for the ½ hour psychic reading by filling out the questionnaire and emailing it back to us or pick up a copy at the register. The drawing will be held on February 14th.

Valentines’ Day is a special day for remembering those we love. I always say if you’re going to do something, do it Big. Make it special so you don’t forget. We hope to make this Valentine’s Day special by offering free mini readings. We are sharing the love with you and we are offering you the opportunity to share the love that day by bringing in canned goods and such to share with our local pantries. There several people in our area who could a little bit of love and compassion.

The Energies of February

Time for the Runes and the Osho Zen Tarot to give us a hint of what’s to come in the month of February, 2008…

The Rune for February is: Raido - Journey, Communication, Union, Reunion – The perfect rune for Valentine’s Day! Why? Because communication is the number one issue in almost every relationship. Raido encourages us to take this thought much further, however, than our mates and partners - Also include your relationships with the Divine - with Gaia - with your own Inner Being and Guides - even with your own Soul. Since this is one of the Runes of the Cycle of Self-Transformation it suggests that we become quite serious about all relationships which are part of our inner journey. This rune is deeply spiritual and intensely aimed at self-knowledge, self-worth and self-healing. Listen to your inner communications - and in the outer world - listen to your partner, too.

The Osho Zen Tarot Card for February is Understanding (reversed). As February begins, Mercury is retrograde (until the 18^th) and like the rune above, this card encourages you to go inward to find peace and clarity. In the picture, a bird sits on the open doorway of its cage, too scared yet to take flight. Other birds soar and await their nervous friend who is so focused on its dilemma that it doesn’t even notice that the cage is dissolving and that it will soon be flying anyway.

When reversed this card suggests that many feel trapped in some situation and don’t see a way out. So what must we do to be free? Go within.

I have always felt that the true energy of Mercury Retrograde is one of meditation and contemplation… turning inward for answers and growth rather than focusing only on our busy outer worlds. If troubles and obstacles appear during these short retrograde periods, most often they could be avoided by simply slowing down and contemplating a bit before taking action.

So, this February is about relationship (both inner and outer), communication, meditation and learning what is needed to claim your freedom -

The following is taken from the Missive that was channeled with Archangel Miralta. It is specifically a section where she speaks of Love and our experience in it as human beings. I have learned a lot from Miralta in this past year, and most recently have been able to expand on the love experience and see how the love energy is the foundation for manifesting… I will explain further following the missive.

[Relationships in general but especially romantic ones] help people to become open to parts of themselves that have been hidden. The “new love” is actually part of the journey to discover (un-cover) a new love for life. People may find much resistance to loving another truly until they begin to love life…which also comes when they begin to love and worship themselves—from the soul-center, not the mind. Love in this context is not a thought or an action, it is beingness. Do you understand this?

Jennifer: I think so. I think I have been uncovering my beingness in love as well.

Miralta: Yes, you have. And you have done well if you are in a place of judging it, and will continue to move forward in this manner. Love is boundless and has many aspects to it. Likewise, it can be thought of in terms of “levels” for your understanding. Just as you may love someone a little or a lot, you also realize that love for oneself can be a little or a lot. Many of you on the Earth plane are working on complete love for the Self. But when you love someone “a little”, what you are actually doing is denying love in its completeness. Love ultimately is complete. For any one of you to experience less than this completeness is for you to deny love…it is not that complete love does not exist within when “just a little” is felt or acknowledged.

Most of us have heard about focusing on what we desire in effort to bring it forth; but what I had noticed in the material that discusses manifestation is what type of energy creates more quickly and purely, and furthermore, where is that energy actually coming from? Understand that the energy that we project is leaving us always…our focus just directs that energy. If we are focusing on a specific desire (maybe a new car), our focus directs whatever energy we project. The problem I had discovered, as had many people that I know, was that their desires were not coming quickly at all, or that many obstacles showed up in front the their desire.
Here’s a thought: the subconscious mind is projecting strong, intense energy based on the beliefs in it. If those beliefs are in conflict with one another or have a low vibration (negativity), what you focus on will be tainted or distorted in some way because that is the type of energy being projected. One way to alter that energy is to do subconscious work and resolve those conflicts. Hypnotherapy works extremely well for this, but as with many approaches, can take more time than we would like to put forth. I began asking for the “quickest” way to manifest and I was told “be in the love space”.

If a person is able to truly stop denying love in its complete form, our vibrations, in that moment, sky-rocket! From my experience, however, our subconscious beliefs (our mind) can prevent us from truly being in the love space, and even prevent us from staying there. New romantic relationships often trigger us into being “in love”, but once again, if we have conflicting beliefs in our subconscious (which can often stem from hidden fears), the person we are experiencing love with will soon begin to trigger those conflicts so we can heal and clear them out…which usually flings us right out of the love space. Keep in mind that when we begin to experience our “triggers” we may continue to feel we are ‘in love’ with that person, but we begin to deny the completeness of love.

Being in the love space and allowing yourself to briefly focus on what you desire is a clear channel to manifesting because all of the energy we project in those moments are clear, pure and of high vibration. When we are in love, we are no longer resisting anything, but are open and have access to the most powerful energy in the world. The mind, while in the love space, has little power over us, thus becoming only a tool to be used, instead of the main part of what we identify with. So whether you choose to access that space individually or with another, I hope you have many blessings in love!

It’s February again, and that means that Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. “The day that means love from the very young to the very old.” That is a quote from the eulogy that I gave at my grandson Richard’s funeral. He passed away on Valentine’s Day in 1997. Each year my family and I remember and celebrate the person Richard is. I say “is” because Richard lives in all of us.

My daughter Carol wrote a book a few years back titled “A Mother’s Love”. It details the conversations she has had with him since his passing. It also established their connections as something that will never fade. If you have had a hard time creating a connection with someone special in your life whom has passed you can pick up a copy of “A Mother’s Love” at the Higher Self. I hope that it will give you some insight into the spirit world. Carol never intended to write a book, but spirit lead her to believe that her words could help others to find comfort and ease some of the loss that you feel when a loved one is no longer here in body but is always here in spirit. I felt it was so important for her words to be offered to others that I had 100 copies printed. We have given away more than 20 copies to groups or individuals that are dealing with death. Carol also gives great hugs.

I hope you will make this Valentine’s Day a day of Love and Joy. May all of your disagreements and sadness be replaced with hugs and smiles. It’s never too late to say “I’m sorry for making you wrong” and establishing a new and better connection with those who warm you heart.

Valentine Day is very special. I am so glad that the Higher Self is making it even more so with the “Give and Take” theme. I hope you all participate. See you there.
