It’s that time again.  Carol is driving poor Kafi crazy trying to get her to sit down at the computer.  Poor thing, she even asked us if there was a rock that would make annoying baby sisters disappear.  We were sorry to tell her those crystals are still hidden deep within the earth, not to be found until you all get along nicer!  So it shouldn’t be a surprise that I’ve picked ONYX as my stone this month.  A stone that helps you be at ease in any situation or surroundings. (I really hate computer work.)  

Onyx is a true stone of strength; it will support you when times become confusing and difficult.  When you are under enormous emotional and mental stress. Of course, none of us are feeling that. When you’re not sure what ship you’re even on let alone where it’s headed.   I can center your energies and reconnect you to the whole once again. I can refresh and bolster your own personal strength and remind you that you are master of your own destiny.  Which one of you couldn’t use an increase of stick-to-it-ness and the stamina of five 4 yr olds?  Wahoo.  I make the lessons your learning easier to integrate and understand, filling you with the self confidence of the 17 yr. old who hasn’t learned to live without your checkbook yet.  Onyx helps you to be open and clear while teaching you how to maintain your necessary secrets, because I'm such a strong stone for holding memories.&nb sp; I can help to retrieve and decipherer old injuries and traumas from pass lives that are affecting you in the now.  The thing that really makes me the best stone for the here and now is my ability to release overwhelming fear and worries.  Once and forever healing them and helping you move on into wiser and more fulfilling choices.

So my fellow humans if the new energy is rocking your world on its axis reach for brother Onyx.  And if the new energy is making you happier than spit (Kafi is from the south) gift a piece to all your loved ones who are still trying desperately to remain in the same old bog.

Does Hypnosis Work For Most People?

Even though hypnosis has been around for decades and is based on many of the same principles as modern psychology, many people are unfamiliar with what hypnosis does and whether or not it works.

Hypnosis is based on the idea that our experiences are shaped by our minds and that by training the subconscious mind you can resolve many problems and create changes in your life. 

There are many people who are trained to successfully help you use hypnosis to overcome fear, increase your confidence, break bad habits and feel better overall, but technically all hypnosis is “self hypnosis”.  What this means is that even though someone may guide you into a deeply relaxed state and offer you positive suggestions, the power behind hypnosis ultimately lies within the person being hypnotized.

 

Hypnosis is a tool that can help you achieve fast results, but the most lasting changes are the ones that occur over time by retraining your mind to work towards your desires.
