Who is responsible for this mess? The government? Past Presidents, current President, lobbyists, crooked politians. I know, it is Wall Street and those bankers who only think about their own bottom line. If I look real hard, dig down deep into my own thoughts I will discover that I am the one who is responsibility for all the changes in my life. Our world is changing and it is mirroring back to me my thoughts, my desires and my fears. I take full responsibility for my circumstances. I acknowledge my role for the current state of affairs. I know I cannot change what I will not acknowledge. Facing the mirror can be hard but oh so rewarding. Change happens with me first.

What do I see when I look into the mirror? Acceptance, Abundance, Compassion, Connection, Laughter and Peace of Mind to name a few. Every face and every connection you make will mirror back to you how you see yourself and the world. What do you see when you look into the eyes of your brothers and sisters?

One of my biggest thrills at work is teaching others that all of their answers are inside of themselves. To trust that knowing/intuition. At the Higher Self we offer tools to assist you on your desired path. For me, I have found that a connection with others is where I find peace. The Energies of April

The Rune for April is: Uruz – Strength (Reversed)

It’s amazing to me how often this rune presents itself. Usually it gives a message of strength and courage being needed to move forward and, indeed, for almost all of mankind this winter has required a great deal of strength and courage. But this time the rune was reversed and so the good news is that, as April begins to warm the northern hemisphere, things will begin to lighten up… Yay!

And are you aware just how much your effort, and the efforts of all the loving, compassionate and divine beings who share this planet with you, are responsible for this predicted improvement? People have been praying for peace, for light, for spring, for financial blessings, for jobs, for health and for so many more things which represent recovery and progress… and those prayers have been heard and are, even now, being answered.

So the message of Uruz is simply to relax and hold your focus on light, love, peace and joy… You’ve worked hard, Lightworker, and soon the road will be much gentler.

God Has A Sense of Humor?!

God has a sense of humor?! That may seem like an obvious thing to some people, but I guess it never really occurred to me before recently. As I have spoken with Bridget (Isness) as well as Feminine Spirit (who we are told is just vibrationally "under" Bridget) I've lightened up a ton because they are not nearly as serious as I once thought. I even had Feminine Spirit make a joke about how I wasn't as funny as I thought I was! She laughed and laughed, along with my husband, because I'm always claiming to be funny (apparently cracking myself up doesn't count??). Even after going to the State Hospital grounds and talking with a bunch of trapped spirits was funny to Feminine Spirit...I had a severe headache when we were leaving and I asked her to help relieve me of it, knowing it was from my vibrations dropping upon contact. Her response when I asked if she was laughing was, "A medium at an old insane asylum....are you kidding? That's hilarious! What were you thinking?" We all laughed, as I slapped my forehead in retrospect.

So, God has a sense of humor...what does that mean? It means that if we are not having fun and enjoying ourselves, we could be. It means that we could look for the opportunities that come to us to laugh and have fun! It means many things, but mostly to me it means that maybe I shouldn't take myself so seriously! How much of a priority is it for you to have fun and laugh?

One of my favorite shows to watch is Jeff Dunham's "Sparks of Insanity" stand up show. I watch that show probably about once a month and find myself quoting parts of it regularly (and cracking myself up). How long has it been since you laughed yourself into tears and a side-ache? Have you ever noticed how wonderful and light you feel after laughing like that? I wonder how much tension and stress (negativity) releases from laughing? I know there is a regular local "laughter-size" class that may be calling my name!

What other things can help you release? Music is fantastic for most people; I prefer the lighter music with subtle spiritual undertones (Rick Springfield to be specific) :) What about watching children play...have you ever watched their awkward bodies manage to contort themselves in unheard of ways? Have you tried to copy their moves only to get stuck? Yeah, I have. I learned a while ago that I am not as flexible as I once was...but I had a blast trying! Have you seen how children run around, pulling in their imaginations and becoming so engulfed in their made-up drama that it can take them some time to come out of? If you get a chance, observe children in this kind of play and I bet you'll find some humor as you see the parallels between their "pretending" and your real-life drama...it can really put your drama into a new perspective!

Laughing gets me OUT OF MY HEAD! For a moment, I allow myself to just be, to be without thought or limitation. Just like when I watch my hubby perform magic...I know how most of it is done, the secrets, but when he performs, it is as if don't! I get so caught up in what is in front of my eyes that my mind doesn't even try to "figure it out". It is amazing to be able to step aside from yourself, lighten up and enjoy the moment. I am glad that my husband's magic is done with humor, because you can see people lighten up very quickly as they also get out of their heads and step into a very light, fun and humorous experience! I hope you laugh today!

Unless – A Manifesting Mishap

I’ve been studying the laws of manifesting, reading various teachers’ instructions and applying them to what I’ve already learned. It is not that the views are conflicting, but nonetheless, I am confused as to how they all come together. My very human mind sees holes in each conversation on application.

How does one say “Yes” to possibilities, and be impeccable with ones word? How does one manifest purposefully and powerfully, yet not get attached to the results? I don’t think I can answer all these questions today, but I’ll keep you posted as I work it out.

Today I want to look at one way we self-sabotage our manifestations, our intentions and dreams, by the thoughts we may have programmed throughout our lives. The unconscious or subconscious thoughts that confuse the Universe about what we really want.
