Newsletter Are you Happy? This is the question I ask my daughters quite frequently. This month my youngest daughter will reach a milestone birthday. I remember as these two beautiful souls started reaching their late teen years and early twenties, I had to change the way I viewed them. I could no longer look at them as children or young adults who needed constant supervision. I started saying a mantra to myself that allowed me to let go of the thought that I was in control of their lives. I even wrote it down and taped it to the wall where I could see it every day. My daughters are smart, caring, loving, supportive, beautiful, giving women who always make the right decisions for themselves.
Over the years I added new words as I watched them blossom into amazing adults. I would blow these words off my hands and release them to the universe. Sometimes I had to say it several times a day until I had myself convinced that it was true.
Now I ask them if they are happy. Isn’t that what we have always wanted most for our children? It has been amazing to watch these maidens turn into mothers as I step gracefully into the crone.

Message from The Arcturian Group
Greetings dear ones. We of the Arcturian group welcome you to a new age, to a new way of seeing, and new light of understanding that is blanketing the earth at this time. We see Light moving though many places that heretofore have been in darkness. Many who were stuck in tradition and old energy are beginning to open, even if just a little, to new ways of seeing and being. The Light is surrounding you dear ones, and this is acting to dissolve and break the bonds of those shadows that you have lived under for so long.
 There is coming a time very shortly, when you will understand even more. You are creating an energy in which the new can be born in more powerful ways, a new energy in which those who will be here to help can enter and be listened to. Much is about to change on earth. Much that you have believed could never change is indeed changing, for all is energy and you have changed the energy needed in order for these old issues to function. We see you embracing the new ideas with love for you are beginning to see that there are indeed better and higher ways of doing things. Ways which include all and not just a select group deemed worthy by the false standards of old energy beliefs. Those who still continue to hold to what is finished will have a difficult time of it, for they are "beating a dead horse" as you say in your vernacular.

Goddess Archetype for October - Hecate
In October we recognize the aspect of ourselves that is Hecate – the wise crone woman. This part of yourself knows what you want and what you have to let go of to get it. Let Hecate reveal to you your heart’s desire and show you exactly what is in your way of realizing it. She knows exactly how to move right through because she sees the choices you make which either support or impede the movement toward its manifestation.
 Hecate is the third face of the triple goddess – the crone. The crone phase is one of wisdom, freedom, and tough-love. This is a time of becoming very honest with ourselves and taking responsibility for letting go of what generates ignorance, complacency, and inertia in our lives. In this way, this season of naturally going within will be filled with a more potent space to generate a joyful expression of our heart’s desire and a more powerful relationship to our life, period.
Your inner Hecate is waiting for you to pay attention to her wise counsel - get honest about how you are creating the roadblocks in your life that lead you away from freedom, joy, and peace. It is time to let the dark mother reveal this part of your nature. She’s been there all the while quietly offering the opportunity for greater movement toward your authentic self - step on up.
Autumnal Goddess Meditation – Summoning Your Inner Hecate
Light a black candle with the intention of calling forth the part of you that is very wise, honest and clear – Hecate. Let this aspect of yourself come forward as you sit quietly with your eyes closed. She will arrive with a shift in the energy…perhaps goose bumps, a chill up the spine, a sense of relaxation in the body or just insights pouring into your awareness.
When the shift happens, write from the perspective of the wise crone, Hecate:
* Where are you compromising your peace, happiness, health and success?
* What do you do that gets in your own way?
* What is your heart’s desire and why it is your desire?
* Why you deserve to realize and live your desire.
* What scares you about it?
* How do you negate your own efforts out of habit?
* What are a few small steps you can take to stop the old habits and create new ones?

Hello Rocketes and Rockhounds
It’s October, that special month that allows not just those of us in the know to discuss things that go bump! But also those who remain in the closet about some of the not so acceptable unseen things in their lives.
Now I know my writing is supposed to be about stones and it will be. However 8 out of 9 people I’ve seen in the last two weeks are having issues with uninvited guests in their homes. No, not your pesky relatives who you actually have to throw rocks at to get them to leave but unattached little wanders in the night. So when I sat down to write this month a whole slew of rocks presented themselves to assist with this problem.
So here they are and what they do. I’m not going to list personal stories just the categories they best work in. There’s just too many of them in my head going “Pick me, pick me”. I’m going to have to pull my Angelite out on them to calm them all down! Peridot helps to calm spite and rage. Rose Quartz is for unconditional love that draws spirits into the stone itself where they can be transported to some other place. The hairs in Rutiled Quartz can actually disperse negative energy. Blue Topaz can heal and comfort disembodied beings.
Notice that I named the softer stones first. Because in the end if you’re lucky enough to possess the skill of seeing them, no matter how annoying they seem, what they are really asking for is help. For protection or if you just don’t want the energy around you can use Black Onyx, Obsidian, Jet, Black & Brown Jasper or Black Tourmaline. Maybe you don’t see anything but it just creeps you out, these are the blasters.
Always whether you coax or blast them out, bring out Angelite or Kyanite to bring heavens assistance to not only final clear them out but also heavenly seal the door shut behind them. Most important remember you’re the boss, you pay the rent and we and heaven stand firmly at your side Like a rock!

Wake Up - I'm Dreaming
A few mornings ago, I was attempting to sleep in since I didn't have to open the Higher Self Bookstore that day. Kafi was scheduled to work all day and I actually had the option of going in or working at home. Or playing - now there's a concept!
 My bladder was protesting, but I stayed in the bed, drifting in and out, tossing and turning a little. This is what I remember. A picture showed up in my dream, a scene - a vision. As a story followed, I realized that I was the one making up the story! I was directing and choreographing what came next, scene after scene. That realization is what woke me up. I believe I sat up on the bed with my mouth open, in awe and wonder.
I was creating my dream in a dream. I became aware that I was creating a dream in a dream, a story with characters and scenery and conversation. So now I ponder - how can I create my reality the way I created the dream? Is my reality one that I have directed and choreographed and I am just not aware?
